Cairngorms 2022

As Poland was off limits again in 2022 the boys returned to the Cairngorms, this time to Braemar.
It doesn't look like the weather has improved since last year!
It did not rain all the time which allowed us to admire the wild flowers.

We did manage to climb six Munros in one day and have the pictures to prove it.
The eagle eyed amongst you will notice the rain - Munro 1 - not raining yet, 2-only a bit of drizzle, 3 - raining quite hard now, 4 - back to drizzle, 5 - we look like drowned rats, 6 - sunshine but we keep our rain gear on as it will be raining soon!
There was no kayaking this year but every day two intrepid souls set off on bikes along the byways of Scotland looking for ancient ruins, young ladies (those under 60) and decent bars.
Perhaps the locals don't like cyclists but of course Ray was over in a single bound.
Of course the boys kept to the straight and narrow
Always keen to investigate the local delicacies, we tried a few whiskies and found those from India to be rather good!
Perhaps that is why John is legless
