Everest Base Camp, November 2018

Ian Hudson suggested we walk up to Everest Base Camp in February 2018, it seemed a good idea at the time so both Johns, Cleggie, Graham volunteered and two new recruits Graham and Sam were conned into the adventure.  Tickets were booked and then we all started to worry if we had made a terrible mistake.
Of course we hadn't, a jolly good time was had by all as you can see below.

It started with a flight to the most dangerous airport in the world

The first days walk was all down hill, no wonder we are all smiling

Yaks to carry our luggage, something we should introduce on all our walks.

Good advice from Sherpa Tenzing

It is worrying when your doctor pulls a strange face

The bridges were exciting

we refrained from taking life but we did offend others with the smell of garlic

The tea stops were a little special

And the views stunning

The A Team at Base Camp

Probably the best accommodation we have ever had on a walk.
